As the UK's largest industry, we need to ensure that we have a fully qualified workforce with the right people in the right positions with the necessary skills required to carry out their jobs.
We are all aware that training makes better business sense and ultimately the aim of the Scottish Building Federation, as far is training is concerned, is to ensure that we are providing the right training courses in relation to the skills required in today's competitive construction industry.
Training is vital for all areas of a business and at all levels and requires to be a continual process, developing over time in line with the skills of individuals.
Training also forms a core component of apprenticeships within the Scottish construction industry.
