The Argyll Association of SBF represents the varied interests of its member companies operating throughout the Argyll mainland and offshore islands. It is perhaps the most acvtive Association in the West.
The size and structure of the companies range from the smaller sole trader to some of the major construction operations in the West of Scotland - all striving to provide a first class comprehensive building service to their respective clients.
To enable them to fulfill this objective the companies in turn seek appropriate support through the Association from SBF to better enable them to carry out their day to day operations, with the benefit of all available advice on best practice and procedures.
In addition to regular meetings, quarterly meetings take place during which some political lobbying takes place with invited officials and elected representatives.
The Association was instrumental in setting up the Argyll Training Group and also coordinates with the West of Scotland Forum.
